Hajime Rising Stances

Hajime Rising stances: the primary and secondary stance slots, how to switch with T, and what the developer has and has not published about stance types.

3 min readLast checked Sources

Hajime Rising stances are the boxing stances your fighter can use in this Roblox boxing game, which is in alpha and is not the manga or anime Hajime no Ippo. The developer's description says each boxer has a primary and a secondary slot and that you can swap between them in a fight. Beyond that, very little is published, and this page is honest about where the facts stop.

Hajime Rising Stances: Primary And Secondary Slots

Every boxer has two stance slots, called primary and secondary. One is active at a time. Having two means you can prepare a second option and change to it without leaving the fight. The developer does not say how a stance is put into a slot or whether you can change the contents of a slot yourself.

How To Switch Stances With T

Press T to switch between your primary and secondary stance. The developer says you can do this mid-fight. A separate guide says stances flip you between left-handed and right-handed boxing, but that is a single low-quality source, so check it yourself. Punch keys and lock-on stay as listed in the Hajime Rising controls guide, and the punch choices are on the Hajime Rising punch types page.

Hajime Rising Boxing Stances: What Is Published

The developer describes the two slots and nothing else. No named source has published a list of stance types, a tier list, or a build. Destructoid mentions a Peek-a-Boo stance as something players may want to roll for, but it does not describe how it plays. We treat both the name and where it comes from as unconfirmed.

Stances And Reroll Tokens

Both active promo codes pay out 10 Reroll Tokens, and Destructoid says Reroll Tokens re-roll your traits and appearance. Whether stances are part of that roll is not confirmed by any source. Current codes are on the Hajime Rising codes page; if one fails, see Hajime Rising codes not working. Codes from other games such as Anime Rising do not work here.

How To Check Your Own Stance

Until more is published about Hajime Rising stances, the game itself is the best source. Press M to open the main menu and look for your stance slots, then press T during a fight and watch what changes: your fighter's pose and which hand leads are the most likely signs. Write down what you see in each slot so you can tell when an Hajime Rising update changes it. Community players share findings on the Hajime Rising Discord, and our Hajime Rising wiki home links to every guide we have.
